1.TURMERIC
You can taste this spice as part of traditional Indian cuisine, but it also makes a suitable toothpaste, because of its antiplates, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Mix a teaspoon with mustard oil and you’ll have a paste! You can also prepare a mouthwash that combines turmeric powder with a cup of hot filtered water.
2- ACTIVATED CHARCOAL
Activated charcoal is used for many medical purposes, including cleansing the stomach of toxins due to its absorption. When you use it to clean your teeth, it removes plaque and other debris that can stain your teeth. Just wet the toothbrush, dip it in the charcoal powder, brush it and rinse it. Please note that it is not for you if you have plugs on your teeth.
3- COCONUT OIL
It’s another simple and natural ingredient that does the job, it’s very good at killing bacteria and fungi. There are two approaches. You can pour a tablespoon of coconut oil in your mouth for about 10 minutes, then brush it with plain water, or you can mix the oil with baking soda to create your own toothpaste.
4- ORANGE PEEL
Common sense tells you that the best place for an orange peel is the basket, but think about it! There are so many advantages to using orange peel as an alternative to toothpaste, first of all, it works as an excellent solvent to remove plaque. In addition, vitamin C prevents cavities and keeps breathing fresh. For best results, rub the inside of a fresh orange peel on the teeth and gums. After five minutes, rinse the mouth with water.
