Monday May 2, 2022, Muriel Reus came to testify on the PPDA affair on the Touche plateau not at my post. On this occasion, Benjamin Castaldi made astonishing statements about the writing of TF1.
Muriel Reus, the vice-president of « MeToo Media« said that she had been sexually assaulted by Patrick-Poivre d’Arvor, in her office, while she was on the premises of TF1. Monday May 2, 2022, she went to the set of Do not touch My TV to bear witness to alleged actions of the former presenter from the news. After his testimony, Benjamin Castaldi also spoke on the subject.
Cyril Hanouna’s columnist explained that when he worked at TF1, PPDA already had a reputation for this. « I arrived in 2008, it was an open secret. Honestly everyone knew » he first said before continuing: « There was a system that had been put in place to actually bring back young girls. Everyone knew it very well. The system, we all know it. At the time, we told friends on the chain: ‘Be careful, don’t go there, don’t take the same elevator‘ ».

For her part, Valérie Bénaïm worked at TF1 between 1998 and 2010. For her, the presenter had a reputation as a seducer, but no sex offender. She indeed explained that PPDA had her invited to lunch after a press conference to prepare for the transition to the year 2000. She explained on the set of C8 : « I’m flattered and at no time have I been warned or told ‘be careful, it’s dangerous’. On the other hand, what I am told is ‘oh yeah, he’s flirting with you too’« .
Finally, Valérie Bénaïm had lunch twice with the journalist she found « charming » and « charmer« . According to her, she never felt in danger in the presence of the 74-year-old man.
