For’AFP, the singer’s granddaughter has agreed to talk about her end of life. She thus confided:Régine has lived a thousand lives, so her departure is not premature, in the sense of unfair.. I’m rather relieved about that, because she didn’t want to age too much at 92. I shared with her her last week, her last day, her final moments (…) I think it was with a clear conscience that she chose to leave.« From the summer of 2021, Régine had health concerns. « We realized that she could no longer stay at home. We decided together that she would go to the Maison des artistes“, confided Daphné Rotcage. Far from his home, the star was however able to count on the support of his friends who took turns to visit him.
