Harry and Meghan hesitated for a long time on the first name of their son
During a reading workshop with families of participants, the former American actress met a young boy named Harrison. « It’s Archie’s middle name », she then launched, as reported by a witness to the PA agency. « EThey were just discussing the fact thatHarry and Meghan had a hard time deciding between Archie and Harrison for the first name »added this witness.
And the name « Harrison » is not due to chance, because it literally means « Harry’s son ». Regarding « Archie », it is a first name of Germanic origin, derived from « Archibald », which means « bold » and « authentic ». The spouses therefore finally opted for the latter at the time of the birth of their little boy. Note that the name « Archie » has experienced a resurgence in popularity since the birth of Harry and Meghan’s son. According to the British Office for National Statistics, it even made its return to the top 10 names for boys in England in 2020.
