Charlene of Monaco speaks for the first time in months about her state of health

While her state of health was at the heart of Monegasque news for several months, Princess Charlene of Monaco spoke about it for the first time in the columns of Monaco Matin on Tuesday May 24, 2022.

Princess Charlene of Monaco has not stopped being talked about in the media for many months now, mainly because of his health. As a reminder, the wife of Prince Albert II had traveled to his native South Africa for the purposes of his foundation. While she was supposed to stay there for just a few days, Charlene of Monaco could not leave the country for medical reasons. Suffering from an infection of the ENT sphere, she was banned from flying, and even had to be operated on the spot. It was only after long weeks of convalescence that the princess was finally authorized to return to Monaco.

However, the state of health of the mother of twins Jacques and Gabriella continued to be of concern. Charlene of Monaco has therefore undertaken a long convalescence far from the Rock. An ordeal which seems to be finally behind it, given that the wife of prince Albert II appears again in public with his family for a few weeks. For example, she was present at the 10th edition of Monte-Carlo Fashion Weekwhich began on Monday, May 23, 2022. It was in the context of this event that the former swimming champion gave an interview to Monaco Morning Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in order to discuss his state of health for the first time. Charlene of Monaco wanted to be reassuring, while many rumors have emerged throughout his recovery.

« Today I feel calmer. My state of health is still fragile and I don’t want to go too fast. The road has been long, hard and so painful« , explained Charlene of Monaco. The princess then confided in the subject of her daughter Gabriella. « This mother/daughter fashion outing for the Monte-Carlo Fashion Awards delighted me and for the first time we went on stage together. She wasn’t nervous at all, rather amused and she could have even put on a show on stage!« , underlined the wife of Prince Albert II. « Gabriella, like all little girls her age, loves princess dresses, doing her hair and even trying on my lipsticks. Gabriella has a style all her own and I like to encourage that individuality.“, she also added.
