5. Border Collies :
They are known for their intelligence and great empathy, and they are also very patient, which makes them perfect for the first owners. This breed is healthy and easily tolerates a hot and cold climate. They tend to live for about 15 years, so well managed, and are known to be among dogs with minor health problems.
4. Rottweilers :
They are a bigger breed, but they are calm and sweet like a teddy bear. Despite their reputation, unless they are constantly reared aggressively, these dogs are only aggressive when they feel attacked by humans.
Usually, rottweilers are recommended to more experienced owners, because of their size. They can reach 130 pounds and live about 11 years.
3. Shetland Sheepdog :
The Shetland Sheepdog breed is very smart. While their hair is long and scatters slightly, it is worth vacuuming it extra! You rarely bark, never chew your shoes/furniture and are known to stay home instead of fleeing. This breed can live up to 13 years.
