The Voice: why Nikos Aliagas did not present the semi-final last night?
Caroline Costa, how have you been feeling since the semi-final?
I live on a little cloud, it’s quite unreal. It’s a stage of the adventure that I had never allowed myself to think about so it’s true that I still can’t achieve. I think that will come when we start rehearsals. I am so proud of this journey, of being surrounded by these artists. It’s so beautiful, I’m the happiest in the world to be here today.
What is the preparation program for the final?
We are in the work, thinking about which songs we will be able to interpret, and how. We work very hard to put on a good show because that’s how I see it, before being a competition. We want to surpass ourselves to be proud of ourselves. It will be the last time that we will come close to this beautiful plateau that is The Voice and I want to take advantage of every moment that is offered to me to live until Saturday. Since the beginning of this adventure I have been living in the present moments, there is not necessarily any psychological preparation because it is still unreal for me what is happening. I just live and breathe deeply.
It was also for my 3-year-old daughter that I took part in this adventure, to be able to see the pride in her eyes and I saw her, so I won everything.
What reactions did you receive when the results were announced from your relatives?
Pride already. I received videos from my daughter who was watching me on TV which are worth all the gold in the world because it is also for her that I participated in this adventure, to be able to see the pride in her stare. And I saw it, so I won it all. I haven’t had time yet to sit quietly to look at all my messages, to read them, to reply to them. I can’t wait to take the time to watch it all with great attention.

The Voice 2022: who are the five qualified candidates for the final?
You already have a full course, do you still have challenges to overcome?
Of course, life is full of challenges. So far The Voice has been my biggest challenge because even though I’ve experienced great things before, I question everything, everything at stake with the show. But The Voice is above all a rebirth, a revival. All you can wish for me is that things go well for me for the future, to be able to have the chance to perform on stage, something that hadn’t been the case for years. Being able to share my music, my lyrics with the public, that’s really all anyone can wish for me.
What do you remember the most about your journey in The Voice so far?
I have grown and changed forever. I noticed it from the first moments of this adventure. It brings me a lot of beautiful things, insurance as well as a woman as an artist. It is also a lot of personal and professional enrichment. I feel complete today, alive.
