Since then, she has returned to the theater stages to play her play there. Saturday May 7, 2022, she is present at the 34th edition of Télévie, which raises funds for cancer research. She was interviewed by RTL-TVi and has confides in her husband’s state of health before he breathes his last. « He had no more traces of lung cancer, last January, but his body was tired. He had twelve strokes and thrombosis… Jean-Pierre did not understand what was happening, but I can assure you that he did not suffer“, she thus declared.
During the same interview, Lou and Tom’s mother explained that she and her late husband had « always beaten for talking about the disease and using the word ‘cancer’« . Even if Jean-Pierre Pernaut is no longer there, she intends to continue the fight so that research progresses. By accepting this interview, Nathalie Marquay took a new step forward since the death of the father of her children. « It’s my first TV show, and he’d be proud to see me on Télévie. Make an appointment with your doctor. Stop saying you don’t have time. Getting tested is essential!«
