Placed in pre-trial detention for almost a year, Cédric Jubillar gave himself up twice, in July and October 2021, to a psychiatric expert. He confided in particular on his past and his conditions of detention. During his first interview, Cédric Jubillar proclaims his innocence and affirms that he  » has done nothing « . Having just been taken into custody a few weeks earlier, the craftsman accused the prison guards of “wanting to push him to suicide”reports France info.

He also talks about his addiction to cannabis and his withdrawal since his incarceration. Then, he projects himself on a possible release under judicial control and then confides to the expert that he will not answer a next summons, because he could well move to another department. “If I am the murderer, it is better that I leave the Tarn”he blurts out to the doctor in a disturbing formula relayed by The Parisian.

He never says his wife’s name

During his second interview, in October 2021, Cédric Jubillar said that he could no longer bear to be always placed in the isolation unit and released a disturbing new formula noted by the psychiatrist: “I am not a rapist, a snitch, a homosexual… I am a criminal like the others. » However, the man accused of having killed his wife repeats that he is  » innocent « that « gendarmes disguised the evidence » and that it is considered « like the perfect culprit ».

When he talks about his relationship with Delphine Jubillar, the psychiatrist notes that he never pronounces his wife’s first name. He recounts the disintegration of his couple and the disputes that have become frequent. He also explains that Delphine would have told him « She couldn’t take it anymore » and would have gradually abandoned her role and her responsibilities as a mother, relays The Parisian.

The craftsman also remembers an episode of physical violence and recognizes “Having already grabbed her by the shoulders in September”. And because the situation of their couple had become too complicated, Cédric Jubillar thinks that his wife « got off »possibly in Spain.

“Egocentric, sometimes arrogant”

In his conclusions, the psychiatrist, appointed by the judges, describes a man “very sure of himself, egocentric, sometimes arrogant, never destabilized, always answering the questions asked with great aplomb. He appears at each interview quite invigorating, very present, in the repartee. He has a high opinion of himself. ».

The expert also evokes the childhood of Cédric Jubillar:  » unconditional love «  that he brings to his mother, the violence of his stepfather and his placement in a foster home when he was a teenager where he explains that he became « a real criminal ».

Regarding the Jubillar affair, the 30-year-old does not reveal ‘no sense of guilt’ and “does not understand why he is implicated”.

In the event that Cédric Jubillar would be the author of the murder, the psychiatrist tried to give an explanation for a possible acting out. “It could be related to his personality, his need for control and mastery associated with a feeling of failure that is difficult to elaborate on in view of the psychic scars left by his own history. Beyond a life as a couple which stops, a conflictual divorce, it was also a meeting with reality can be unbearable, the end of a family life to which he held a lot, perhaps a moment of personal collapse. In this hypothesis, he could have acted in a moment of projective anger, refusing this feeling of failure.according to his comments relayed by The Parisian.

Cédric Jubillar’s term of deposit expires on June 18. He cannot therefore remain in pre-trial detention beyond without a debate before the judge of freedoms. According to Franceinfo, Cédric Jubillar should be summoned before the judges in early June. His lawyers will once again demand the release of their client.
