In the columns of Gala, Nathalie Marquay returned to the way Jean-Pierre Pernaut had prepared everything about his heritage.
On March 2, 2022, Jean-Pierre Pernaut disappeared, leaving behind a grieving family. Nathalie Marquay, his wife, confided in the death of the former presenter of the 13 hours in the columns of Gala. The former Miss France then evokes how the father of her two children had planned everything concerning her inheritance : « Everything was in order before he left. And the children get along very well. Tom and Olivier are very close, in particular »she explains.
For Nathalie Marquay, it was out of the question to find herself torn as the Hallyday clan was. « We are close together. Olivier is like Tom, ultra-sensitive, and I think that both Julia and Olivier were reassured to know that I was always with their father during these difficult months », she confides. The widow of Jean-Pierre Pernaut then remembers the last days of her husband’s life: « The children were also able to see him before the operation. Except Tom. He had caught gastro the day before. It’s very hard for him not to have been by his side one last time ». The important thing for the former Miss France, is that the image of Jean-Pierre Pernaut is not flayed by financial scandals : « I want people to know that Jean-Pierre was an extraordinary father for all his children. He always protected them ».
Nathalie Marquay: « I have the chance to go to the cemetery almost every day »
During this interview, Tom and Lou’s mother also confides in how she eases her pain: « I am lucky enough to go to the cemetery almost every day, because he was buried near the house and not in Amiens as everyone thinks ». But Nathalie Marquay and her children would be witnesses of supernatural phenomena, interpreted by the former Miss France as manifestations of her husband : « For two months, I left the hospital every evening at 9 p.m. and the Eiffel Tower was off. The day he died, when he left, it was on, it was twinkling. That’s when we had our first date at the restaurant. The next day, I go to my car and, turning on the radio, there was his favorite song by Johnny Hallyday ‘Allumer le feu' ».
