8. Break the monotony:
While our routines make us more efficient and improve our sense of security, a little change of pace can liven up a boring schedule. Change up your jogging route, plan a road trip, take a walk in a different park, hang new pictures or try a new restaurant.

Sometimes people use alcohol and other drugs as « self-medication, » but in reality alcohol and other drugs only make problems worse.
10. Ask for help:
It is a sign of strength, not weakness. People who receive proper treatment can recover from mental illness or addiction and lead full and enriching lives.
