PPDA accused of rape: 20 women speak out with their faces uncovered to denounce the actions of the journalist

20 accusers of Patrick Poivre d’Arvor decided to come out of silence in a program broadcast on Mediapart, Tuesday May 10, 2022, from 7 p.m. They will speak openly.

By filing a complaint for « slanderous denunciation« , end of April 2022, Patrick Poivre d’Arvor had wanted to silence the many women who accuse him of rape, sexual assault and harassment. « For many months, many unfounded accusations have been brought against Patrick Poivre d’Arvor. One cannot accuse falsely and with impunity« , said Philippe Naepel, lawyer for PPDA, to explain the legal proceedings initiated. Only, the journalist’s desire to silence his accusers does not seem to have worked. For good reason, 20 women have decided to come out of the silence, with their faces uncovered, to denounce the actions of PPDA. They will testify in Outdoors, Show of Mediapart which will air on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

On the eve of the broadcast, the first minutes of the show were broadcast on Twitter. We can thus discover the 20 accusers of PPDA. « It is an exceptional event« , said presenter Valentine Oberti, adding: « The women you are going to hear the stories of have never been brought together on one and the same set, on the same show. Most didn’t know each other before the affair started, some meet for the first time today. » « Two of you were minors at the time of the events, eight of you reported a rape“, further specified the presenter Mathieu Magnaudeix.

Who are the women who will testify?
