During the portrait drawn by seven to eight this sunday 1er May on her career but also on her personal life, Carole Bouquet returned to her childhood, to her appearance as a « tomboy » when she was a little girl and about her parents.
To explain the lack of importance she attached to the physical at the time, the actress remembered her father who did not like to stay hours in the bathroom to get ready: “I was raised by a man who took two minutes in the bathroom to get out and get ready” she confided.
“Life has been violent with her”
A few minutes later, when the journalist reported the fact that Carole Bouquet had lacked a female figure through the absence of his mother from the age of 3the actress excused the latter by explaining her perilous life path, especially during her own youth: « My mother had left, she lived in the south of France, she was very absent. »
The 64-year-old actress later explained in more detail the reasons for her mother’s departure: « Because life had been rough on her and she didn’t know what to do with children. It’s hard when you’re a victim of abuse yourself, it is difficult afterwards, if no one has taken care of you, to heal from this wound. We can’t heal alone, and if nobody takes care of it, you will carry this wound all the time and hurt others. Without knowing it of course. » she confided.
Without taboos and with a smile, Carole Bouquet confided in a long part of her life which led her to an extraordinary and, to say the least, prestigious destiny.
