Friday May 20, 2022, Yannick Alléno, who recently lost his 24-year-old son Antoine, shared a moving photo on social networks. The father who is inconsolable wants justice to be done.
On Sunday May 8, Yannick Alléno’s life fell apart. The three-star chef in the Michelin Guide lost his son, Antoine. The 24-year-old chef who had just opened a restaurant with his father was fatally hit by a car as he had just left his workplace. The driver, a 44-year-old man who was already known to the police, was drunk at the time.
A few days after his death, Yannick Alléno went to his son’s funeral. He then had shared his sadness stating: « If one day I had thought of the worst nightmare, it wouldn’t have been that one…« . Very active on social networks, the 53-year-old cook then had published many photoss of his son and had at the same time announced the creation of the association « Antoine Alleno » to support « victims of repeat offenders« .

Friday, May 20, the father of Antoine and Thomas Alléno shared a magnificent photo on his Instagram account. In the picture taken many years before, Antoine, still very young, holds a bottle of wine in his hand. He is surrounded by his father and several of his friends. In the caption, he wrote: « I promise you ! It’s the last ! But this one, I can’t help but share it with you! We know where his taste for life came from! We miss you Toinou! We love you« .
Faced with this last publication of his son, several subscribers of Yannick Alléno, including chefs, expressed their support and their desire to see more photos of the young man. « Do not prevent yourself from sharing these beautiful photos of Antoine« , « It doesn’t have to be the last« , « Continue to share these beautiful moments of life, if it makes you feel good » can we read for example in the comments. A great wave of support which should probably bring some comfort to the bereaved father.
